Front End Web Developer
Welcome to Stanlon Design! My name is Stanlon and this is my web portfolio. I am a Junior Front-End Web Developer located in Denver, Colorado. I graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Technical Communications and an emphasis in Interactive Media. My passion is building custom made responsive websites. My skills are in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
On my free time, I like learning new web development skills by earning certificates watching LinkedIn Learning tutorials. I keep track of my projects and code changes through GitHub. Other than coding, I like to design and create low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity mockups, svg illustrations and animations. My hobbies also include photography, watching movies, hanging out with friends and working out to stay fit and healthy.
Built this website from scratch for my very first client who owned a hookah bar. Took one month from start to finish and multiple meetings to build a website that the customer absolutely loved.
Learned a lot through this process especially dealing with a real world customer and delivering a sustainable product that the customer would be able to use for years to come.
Created this responsive website from scratch to use as a template to sell to businesses who want a simple, straight to the point and easy to navigate type of website.
Check out the documentation to view my plan, wireframes, photoshop mockups and tools I used in the making of this website.
Inspired by everyday grocery store websites, I decided to create one on my own for fun to test my skills. I primarily focused on UI and UX. SInce this isn't a real site, I didn't complete the payment or reciept page.
Biggest challenge I faced was figuring out how to subtract an add products to the total cost on the grocery items page. Extremely fun time making this.
Created this isometric svg illustration using Illustrator. Then used CSS3 to turn it into an animation.
The making of this 2D svg animation was complex. Used Illustrator and CSS3 to animate it.
This is one of my all time favorite svg animations. Simple, quick, straight to the point and full of creativity.
Took this picture on my phone and used Photoshop to edit it. Covered the parking lot and adjusted the colors of the sky.
Used Photoshop to edit the foreground of this image. Used the masking, crop tool and multiple layers.
Used After Effects and Photoshop to create this image. Used 4 layers, one for the sky, mountains, hills and the city. Used depth of field to make this image come to life.
